The PropTech movement shaping the places we share to be more equitable and accessible.

Context: When we first met the team behind Commonplace, they were known as REDIST, and were focussed on building a tech platform to help developers access public financing. But their bigger vision was nothing less than the transformation of development to be more equitable, inclusive and sustainable.

Solution: We rebranded REDIST as Commonplace, and built a brand with a confidence and humanity that would undergird their vision of a more holistic kind of development, which we defined as ‘Impact Development.’

The Commonplace website was created by Six, adapting the brand system into an editorially-inspired hub of stories to spark new ideas about real estate development.

Artist Clarissa Bonet was commissioned to create custom imagery that captures the intersections of people and the places they share.
